These terms apply to the Weight Loss Secret app ("the app") made by Roman Meshcheryakov ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].

Not medical advice

Calorie and macro targets, estimates of your energy expenditure and nutrition values (including values read from label photos) are estimates for general information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a doctor before starting a diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or a history of eating disorders.

Your account

You sign in with Apple and are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time in Me → Delete account.

Premium subscription

• Premium is an auto-renewable subscription bought through the App Store. Price and period are shown before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before that.
• Manage or cancel it in Manage subscription in the app or in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.
• A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
• Label scanning has a monthly fair-use limit, shown in the app when reached.

Food data

Food data comes from USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts (Open Database License) and foods created by users. It may contain mistakes; check important values against the product label.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no automated scraping, no attempts to access other users' data, no uploading content you don't have the right to use.

Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions you make based on the app's estimates. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
